Toddlers

2 to 3 years

Mountain View Prep's toddler room is for children that are 24 to 36 months in age. Our low teacher to student ratio allows us to treat each child as an individual. This is especially important in this room since toddlers at this age are becoming more independent and are filled with energy and curiosity about the world around them. During this stage, children are highly active and eager for attention to help them learn and discover their new world. 

At Mountain View Prep, our curriculum helps toddlers gain the confidence and independence they need, by providing a warm, loving environment. It is in this environment that your toddler will listen to stories, complete art projects and increase vocabulary and social skills. In this room, our teachers will work hand in hand with you to help with your child's potty training as well. 

In the toddler room, our age appropriate curriculum begins to introduce the concepts of colors, shapes, and number and alphabet recognition. Learning is done through hands on projects, songs and finger play. The focus is on fun and stress free child development.
